Sgt. Stanley Kidwiler Is in Paris Hospital
S. Sgt. Stanley Kidwiler, 33-year-old infantryman with the First army, is in a Paris hospital, his mother, Mrs. Ada Kidwiler, 1907 W. Fifth street, was informed.
Mrs. Kidwiler said that members of the family here had been informed in a letter from the hospital, written April 12, that he probably would undergo surgery April 15. She said she understood that he was taken to the hospital from the front lines by plane.
His mother was of the opinion that the soldier underwent surgery from other causes rather than war injuries. She said that he had been of the impression for some time that an operation would have to be performed.
He has been overseas since last August and has been in the service nearly three years. He served in Camps Barkley, Adair and Carson.
His wife resides at 1012 Pierce street.
