Notes About N.E. Iowans in the Service
PLAINFIELD—Wayne Kelly, in the 37th division chemical composite platoon, writes his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Kelly, that he hopes to be home by Christmas. New Caledonia, Guadalcanal, Fiji and Philippine Islands are all familiar places to him. He has been in service since October, 1942, and has never had a furlough.
