HAROLD JONES RECEIVES DISCHARGE
Cpl. Harold E. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Jones, received his honorable discharge and returned last Wednesday from Ft. Sheridan, Ill., after 4 ½ years in service. He was with both the 5th and 7th armies during his term in the European theatre, where he took part in the campaigns in Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany.

Harold Edward Jones was born Mar. 31, 1917 to Osborne E. and Honore G. Dunn Jones. He died Jan. 8, 2001 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Williamsburg, IA.
