John R. Tudehope, who wife is Norma Tudehope, 1811 Douglas Street, is one of six Sioux City men who have reported for training at the naval training station at Farragut, Idaho. The other five are Arnold Bernard Connelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Connelly, 2608 W. Fourth Street: Robert Austin Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Johnston, 2120 Summit Street; George Jule Buntley, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Buntley, 1001 S. Cornia Street; LeRoy Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark, 2105 Logan Street and Truman Gayle Meacham, whose wife resides at 2013 Metropolitan Street.

IN UNIFORM
Robert Johnston, seaman first class, is spending a 21-day leave in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Johnston, Bellevue apartments. He has been overseas for a year with an armed guard unit aboard a troop transport and he will report back to the west coast for reassignment.

Robert A. Johnston, an armed guard in the merchant marine, has sent his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Johnston, Bellevue apartments, a clipping and photograph from a paper in Auckland, New Zealand, which shows young Johnston in the center of a victory crowd on V-J day. Robert is a former Central High School student and has been in the service three years.
