IN UNIFORM.
John L. Glanville, son of Rev. and Mrs. I. M. Glanville, former Sioux Cityans now living at Yankton, S.D., has been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant. He is stationed at the quartermaster depot, Kansas City, Mo., where he has been since December, 1944. He received his basic training at Camp Lee, Va., and attended officer’s candidate school at Camp Lee. Lt. Glanville, a graduate of Central high school, formerly was employed by the Palmer Candy company prior to his entry into the Army in December, 1943. His wife and two children, Terry John and Linda Joyce, are living in Kansas City.
