William Fullerton Killed in Action
Former Klinger Employee Is German Casualty.
Word has been received by Mrs. L. J. Parks, 656 Wyoming street, that her son-in-law, Pfc. William Fullerton, 26, former Waterloo resident, was killed in action in Germany on Apr. 6. Notice of his death while in action with the infantry was sent by his wife and two daughters, who now reside at Rock Lake, Ia.
Private Fullerton entered service in July, 1944, and went overseas in December, 1944. He had resided in Waterloo from 1939 to 1942 while employed by the Klinger Construction Co. At that time the family moved to Rock Lake where he worked until the time of his induction.
Born Oct. 10, 1918, at Garrett, Pa., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fullerton. On July 24, 1939, he married Mary Lindeman in Pennsylvania.
Surviving are the wife, two daughters, Dalayne Mary and Belva Vera, his father at Meyersdale, Pa., two sisters and two brothers.
Memorial services are to be held at Garrett later.
A brother-in-law, Pfc. Perry Lindeman, son of Mrs. Parks, is serving with the infantry in Italy.
