MISSING IN ACTION
Brighton, Ia.—(U.P.)—Staff Sgt. John J. Chuck, 21, Brighton, has been missing in action in the European theater since May 27, the War Department announced Tuesday. Sergeant Chuck was a waist gunner and photographer on a bomber.

OFFICIAL RECORD REPORTS TWO ON MISSING LISTS
Two men from the Muscatine area were officially reported by the War Department as missing in action, the Associated Press announced today in a message from Washington. They are: Sgt. Donald G. Kopf and Second Lt. Russell J. Bell.
Staff Sgt. John J. Chuck, Brighton, was also reported missing in the European area.
