Moville, Ia.—Cpl. Kenneth Waldman of Moville and Pvt. James C. Chasteen of Ida Grove, recently completed 30 months overseas with a veteran aviation engineer battalion in Italy.

James Christopher Chasteen was born Dec. 15, 1916 to William Forrest and Iva Marie Chandler Chasteen. He died July 29, 2000 and is buried in Austin Cemetery, Austin, IN.
Pvt. Chasteen served in World War II with the U.S. Army.
