LIST OF MISSING IN ACTION GREW IN 1944
Among those from this area who have been listed as missing in action in official dispatches to next of kin, and upon casualty lists of the armed services, are:
PHILIP CALDWELL—Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Caldwell of Washington, formerly of Columbus Junction, received word that their son, Philip Caldwell, had been listed as missing in action on Nov. 9, following a bombing raid over Germany. He entered the air corps about a year ago and had served overseas for several months.
