Our Neighbors in The Service
Holly Springs, Ia.—Henry J. Buthmann, son of Mrs. Louis Buthmann, formerly of Holly Springs and now of Tracy, Cal., now holds the rank of captain in the Army. He enlisted in Sioux City in May 1934. He graduated from officers’ candidate school in 1941 as a second lieutenant and was promoted to first lieutenant in June, 1942. In April of this year he was raised to the rank of captain. He has served in the infantry, air corps, military police, quartermaster and ordnance divisions. He has been stationed at 11 different Army posts.
