NEWS of the BOYS in the Service
Relatives have received word from Cpl. Ed Bortscheller that he is still in India. He has received most of his Christmas packages and a large number of cards from friends in and around LeMars.

Edward “Ed” Bortscheller was born May 9, 1911 to Frank and Rosalie Heissel Bortscheller. He died Apr. 29, 1980 and is buried in Saint Catherines Cemetery, Oyens, IA.
