Clarence Edwin Moreland was born June 2, 1920 to Clarence E. and Elzina M. Dixon Moreland. He died Sept. 18, 1944 and is buried in Fort Dodge Memorial Park, Fort Dodge, IA.

Lt. Moreland served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 386th Fighter Squadron, 365th Fighter Group and died in the service of his country.
