Robert Lynn Hodson was born Feb. 8, 1918 to Jesse L. and Myrtle Anna Price Hodson. He died Oct. 14, 1943 and is buried in Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England and has a cenotaph in Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL.
Major Hodson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Headquarters Squadron, 96th Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Max Junior Hopkins was born May 2, 1922 to Ray C. and Nellie Gladys Roberts Hopkins. He died July 28, 1944 and is buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was initially buried in USAF Cemetery Guam #2, Agat, Guam and returned to the U.S. in 1949.
Cpl. Hopkins served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps Tank Company, 22nd Marines (Rein), 1st Provisional Marine Brigade. He participated in combat operations on Guam until he was KIA.

Vaner Elwin Hornsten was born June 3, 1903 to Pierre Antone and Mollie Kimblad Hornsten. He died Oct. 24, 1949 and is buried in Munterville Lutheran Church Cemetery, Munterville, IA.
Vaner served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

William Max Houk was born Feb. 11, 1918 to Bert and Rose Valentine Campbell Houk. He died June 14, 1944 and is buried in Shaul Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.
Sgt. Houk served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was KIA near Amfreville, Normandy, France when his company was halted temporarily in a wooded area by enemy mortar fire. He was the squad leader of a rifle squad.
