John Nicholas Schmitz was born in 1909 to John and Eliza Ann Schmitz. He July 11, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. Schmitz served in World War II with the U.S. Army 4th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and died in Germany in a vehicle accident. He was serving as a mechanic with the Army.

Harold Carl Schoellerman was born Sept. 6, 1924 to Hermann “Herman” and Sophie H. Schwartz Schoellerman. He died Aug. 13, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint James, France. He has a cenotaph in Bethany Cemetery, Fairview, SD. 

Pvt. Schoellerman served in World War II with the U.S. Army 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

John F. Schutt was born Jan. 22, 1922 to Frank and Sena Prins Schutt. He died Dec. 22, 1944 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Pvt. Schutt served with the U.S. Army Infantry in World War II.

Steve Steenhoven was born Sept. 9, 1912 to Arie and Aaltje Muinen Steenhoven. He died Sept. 28, 1944 and is buried in Hope Cemetery, Hull, IA.

Pvt. Steenhoven served in World War II with the U.S. Army.
