Paul Lewis Larson was born Dec. 26, 1919 to Roy L. and Anna Wilhelmina Paulsen Larson. He died Oct. 25, 1944/FOD Dec. 7, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Oak Hill Cemetery, Irwin, IA.
Chief Petty Officer Larson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Dale (DD-353) and USS Tang (SS-306) and was MIA/KIA/FOD while serving aboard the Tang. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Navy Specially Meritorious Medal and/or Silver Star. (not all records agree)

Merle Samuel Larimore was born Sept. 23, 1909 to Samuel and Emma S. Beck Larimore. He died Jan. 5, 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Dinoze, France.
Sgt. Larimore served in World War II with the U.S. Army 276th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 70th Infantry Division. He was KIA (shot down by a German sniper in an underpass while marching to the front) and awarded the Purple Heart.

Eugene Nathan “Lucky” Luxford was born Mar. 12, 1926 to Fred N. and Mary Pike Luxford. He died June 7, 2008 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
Chief Petty Officer Luxford served with the U.S. Navy in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
