Russell Benjamin Huckstep was born Apr. 22, 1905 to James Bertram and Helen Elizabeth Crampton Huckstep. He died Feb. 23, 1943 and is buried in North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.
Major Huckstep served in World War II with the U.S. Army Eritrea Service Command and was killed in the Middle Eastern area as the result of injuries incurred in an airplane crash. He was awarded the Legion of Merit.

Alfred William Hudgell was born June 11, 1909 to Harry and Lettie Weatherly Hudgell. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is buried in Jordan Cemetery, West Des Moines, IA.
Petty Officer Hudgell served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tennessee (BB-43) and died in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

2nd Lt. Hudson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 2nd Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Group. He was KIA and awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

Sgt. Hunter served in World War II with the U.S. Army 60th Coast Artillery Regiment and was captured at the fall of Bataan and died in a Japanese prison camp.

Howard Hutchinson was born July 4, 1915 to Herbert and Bertha H. Wallace Hutchinson. He died Nov. 16, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Cpl. Hutchinson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 314th Squadron, 31st Air Transport Group and died when his plane crashed on landing after returning from a mercy mission to France.

John Edward Hutton was born Jan. 25, 1927 to John Elijah and Rosetta Raschke Hutton. He died Sept. 16, 2014 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
Petty Officer Hutton served in World War II with the U.S. Navy as Aircrewman, Radioman, and Aerial Gunner. He passed the required exam and was admitted to the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned upon graduation as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Air Force, beginning a career of 28 years. He earned his pilot wings and qualified to pilot a number of different aircraft. He flew over 300 combat missions during the Vietnam War, stationed at several bases in Thailand and Vietnam. He retired with as a Lt. Col. receiving the American Defense Medal (with star), American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Medal (with cluster), Vietnam Service Medal (with 3 stars), Presidential Unit Citation (with star), and the Air Force Meritorious Medal, among others.
