Jack served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as airplane commander on B-29 bombers, flying missions over the Japanese Empire.

Arthur Lee Hickman was born Aug. 2, 1920 to Arthur S. and Anna America Haynes Hickman. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and at the USS Arizona Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Hickman served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Arizona (BB-39) and was MIA/KIA when that ship was attacked at Pearl Harbor. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Robert Lee Hopkins was born Feb. 28, 1923 to Charles O. and Maggie Cato Hopkins. He died Apr. 28, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England and has a cenotaph in Rose Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah, IA.
Sgt. Hopkins served in World War II with the U.S. Army 3206th Quartermaster Survey Company and was KIA in the English Channel. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
