Quentin John Gifford was born Feb. 9, 1919 to Frank and Electa Mae Jackett Gifford. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and at the USS Oklahoma Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Gifford served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) and died in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. His remains were identified and return for burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harold Graves was born June 26, 1906 to Peter B. and Katharine “Katie” Wessels Graves. He died Jan. 25, 1978 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Ashton, IA.
