Michael D. Carbin was born July 13, 1909 to Michael (Sr.) and Catherine Stone Carbin. He died Feb. 13, 1945 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Albia, IA.

Cpl. Carbin served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 36th Service Squadron and died in the service of his country on Mindoro, Philippine Islands.

Thomas Eugene Carr was born Mar. 13, 1923 to James and Mary Fitzgerald Carr. He died Mar. 22, 1943 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Melrose, IA.

Thomas served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Harry Emory Clark was born Feb. 19, 1921 to Fred H. and Clara Emory Cook Clark. He died May 5, 1944 and has a cenotaph in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lovilia, IA. Harry Emory Clark also has a cenotaph in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA. He is also memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.

Petty Officer Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA in the Mediterranean area and awarded the Purple Heart.

Burl Riley Coon was born Nov. 22, 1917 to Sidney Burl and Mabel Maude Codner Coon. He died Dec. 8, 1945 and is buried in Oakview Cemetery, Albia, IA.

Pvt. Riley served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 5th Marine Division.

Richard Homer Coon was born May 23, 1921 to Raymond and Opal Ivy Rhoades Coon. He died Oct. 11, 2017 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Coon served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.
