Harvey William Quindt was born Sept. 12, 1924 to Alexander and Marie Bay Quindt. He died May 17, 2000 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, IA.
MSgt. Quindt served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 451st Bomb Group, 727th Bomb Squadron. He was a tail gunner on a B-24 Liberator bomber and was MIA in the Mediterranean area, He also served in Korea.
