Donald Gustave Donaldson was born Apr. 2, 1921 to Jack and Pansy Donaldson. He died in 1942/FOD Nov. 25, 1945. He has a cenotaph in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, IA and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Donaldson served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
