James Golden Clark, Jr. was born June 8, 1920 to James Golden (Sr.) and Lucy Antoinette Scudder Clark. He died Nov. 16, 1943/FOD Jan. 9, 1946 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 5, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Golet (SS-361) and was MIA/KIA/FOD when that ship was sunk just south of Truk, probably by Japanese submarine I-176. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
