Miles Junior Querry was born Apr. 12, 1923 to Doc Lester and Margaret Ann Smith Querry. He died Oct. 15, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Missouri Valley, IA.
Petty Officer Querry served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vireo (AM-52) and was MIA aboard that ship in the South Pacific.
