Robert Harold Oberhaus was born Sept. 13, 1923 to Floyd E. and Cheryl E. Lagrille Oberhaus. He died Feb. 13, 1997 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

Petty Officer Oberhaus served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Brooks (APD-10).

Paul Lee Oge was born Nov. 27, 1926 to Arthur W. and Ruby A. Ancell Oge. He died Dec. 11, 2003.

Paul served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Wendell Wayne “Shorty” Oge was born Feb 20, 1924 to Joseph E. and Mary J. Ancell Oge. He died Apr. 8, 2013 in Macomb, IL.

Sgt. Oge served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a waist gunner on a B-17 and was MIA when his plane was shot down over France. He was hidden by the French underground until eventually being reunited with American forces. He was awarded the Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars.

Vernal Lee Ohlensehlen was born Jan. 11, 1917 to Martin and Edith Thernau Ohlensehlen. He died Mar. 11, 2004 and is buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, IA.

Vernal served in World War II with the U.S. Army Engineers.

Herbert Paul Oldham was born Jan. 3, 1922 to George H. and Ota M. McPeek Oldham. He died May 20, 2000 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.

1st Lt. Oldham served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 404th Bomb Squadron, 11th Air Force and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal.

Robert Warren Olsen was born July 7, 1921 to John C. and Mathilda “Tillie” Burkhart Olsen. He died Jan. 25, 1948 and is buried in Burlington Memorial Park, Burlington, IA. Sgt. Olsen served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
