George Alvin Pfister was born Feb. 22, 1915 Alvin P. and Caroline Pfister. He died Mar. 2, 2012 and is buried in Locust Cemetery, Decorah, IA.

George served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a Transportation Officer in the Southwest Pacific and on staff at General Mac Arthur’s Headquarters.
