Clyde Harlen Poe was born Dec 16, 1916 to Homer A. and Edna Mae Chestnut Poe. He died Aug. 9, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Poe served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Jarvis (DD-393) and was MIA/FOD off Guadalcanal and awarded the Purple Heart.

Francis Preston “Frank” Porter was born Mar. 14, 1919 to George W. and Myrtle Knapp Porter. He died Dec. 20, 1946 and is buried in Dumont Cemetery, Dumont, IA. Frank served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
