The Marriageable Youth of Frankville.
For the ladies of Frankville:
|
Our reporter
has compiled the following statistics of marriageable men in Frankville for the especial benefit of those seeking whom they may have an opportunity to choose before it is everlastingly too late:
Ira Peck—Light blonde; is a dashing youth of twenty summers. Will receive negotiations this year and
consummate title in the future.
James Conover—Brunette, with
expressive brown eyes, unassuming in manners, and the more the proposals the better suited is he.
Geo. Kneeskern— A blondy kind of a blonde, very' tall and will receive bids for eleven months, so the girls will have to “beat their time” if they effect a capture.
Fred Hoyt—Dark brunette, beautiful mustache, medium size; and some girl will not regret it if she takes him into captivity.
Herb Waters—Small in stature, pays little attention to ladies, but we believe some of our young girls might bring him over.
Ernest Dnins—A tail, handsome ashes of roses blonde of uncertain age; has a lucrative business and would like a partner to share his joys and sorrows.
Morten Dains—A very well formed man with scrutinizing eyes, elegant in manners, and no dude about him. He has a sweet mustache, girls, and is too gallant to refuse any of you.
Wilber Peck—Blonde, young in years but is daily growing, of very good habits and is a perfect littlo musician.
Charley Ray—Also pretty young to be in the market, but is quite a gentleman. Is somewhat afraid of ladies’ society but will improve with the years.
John Mizner—Blonde; rather shy in the presence of ladies, but a little scheming we think would corral him safely.
Tom Waters—Tall and stately, handsome as a summer's dream; very romantic in his nature and a natural born poet. Is in the market and cannot fail to be caught.
George Estey—Blonde, with a mustache too irresistible to resist. He is a fine young man of good habits and a regular dandy.
Frank Peck—A sly little “'cub” rather inclined toward the opposite sex. We believe him an easy prey.
Emmons Wilcox—Brunette, heavy set, cute mustache, good conversationalist; is a little along in years, but would make a solid catch for any girl. He will give all proposals due consideration.
Elias Wentworth-Strawberry blonde, is a good actor, sings sweetly, very polished in his manners, keeps
reasonable hours, and is very partial to good looking girls.
John Bollman—Blonde, tall, attentive to the Indies, and would make somebody , a devoted husband. Will receive a few. select bids on trial.
Ed. Pilgrim—Blonde, heavy set, ten der loving eyes, a good speaker on the stage, and is a member of the “Chicago Circle.” He will receive bids for thirty days only, and then receive in all probability the belle of the city.
Charlie Shattuck—Rather inclined toward blondy, is not too old or too young, too large or too small, always ready for an interview, he is curious and cunning and if captured it will be by an old hand at the business.
Jim McKay—Is in favor of ladies but very bashful. A youug man of good morals and elegant manners, and would be a good catch for some one.
Duke Wagner—Blonde; lavender mustache, one of our handsomest young fellows. He is a regular flirt and his bewitching smiles cannot fail to reach the heart of any lady.
Geo. Sherman—Blondish; sober and calm as a peaceful river. Is not yet too old to be haltered.
Elmer Peck—Fair and rosy cheeked, with a high mind and a noble character. Is not at present in our vicinity but will return soon. Girls, don’t all rush at once.
Last, but by no means least, is the fascinating Rev. Chenistan, tall, finely formed and graceful, with all the qualities which would he desirable in a lifelong companion.
The balance of our young men are not in the market this year.
