While in Ossian, we met quite a number of our farmer friends, although the day was a damp, disagreeable one. They treated this Republican pilgrim very cordially. The B. CR. & N. road, which reached Ossian a little over a year ago, gave considerable impetus to the town; but the bulk of the shipments go over the rails of the old pioneer, the C. M. & St. P.
