John Ditto Dies at Maryville

John [W.] Ditto, formerly of this county, died Saturday at Maryville, Missouri, of apoplexy. The burial will be here but on account of the drifted condition of the roads it was postponed until today.

Mr. Ditto spent many years in Taylor County and is well known throughout the county. Leaving the county he moved to Maryville where he made his home until his death, which came suddenly Saturday.

The roads to the cemetery will be cleared so that the body may be taken to the cemetery here for burial today. The funeral will be held at Maryville at 1:30 this afternoon and when the body arrives here it is planned to use bobsleds to go to the cemetery, as cars will not be able to get through.
