Twp, Wayne County, OH 24 Oct 1853 Julia Ann was b in Chester Twp,
Wayne County, OH Their children were b in Plain Twp, Wayne
County, OH NOTE: Marriage license had her last name Emry and
his name John W.. He used John W. early in his life, but filed for
his CW pension under both names of Joshua W. and John W. Long. He
was a member of Co E, 120th OVI Enl 2 Oct 1862 and later transferred
to Co H, 114th OVI on 27 Nov 1864.
Sometime after the 1870 census of Congress
Twp, Wayne Co, OH they went to IA. Supposedly, I have no record,
their two daughters -- Mary E. m George L. Bratton and Eunice m Robert
Martin in Adams Co, IA
I do not know if they were living in Adams
or Taylor County, as I have not been able to find them on the 1880 census
thru the LDS FamilySearch.com. Julia Ann died 12 Apr 1880 per the
following off of your web site:

Mary Emery was born August the nineteenth in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three. Julian Emery was born July the twentyth in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine. Elizabeth Emery was born November the twenty seventh in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one. Mary Long was born October the seventeenth in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five. Eunice Long was born July 6th one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine. George Edward Long was born November 21st one thousand eight hundred and sixty one.
George Emery died January the fourth in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five.
Gertie Leona S. Bratton Deceased this life March 6th in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and seventy eight.
This certifies that Mr. George E. Long of Chicago in the state of Illinois and Miss Sada C. Watson of Elvaston in the state of Illinois were at Elvaston in said county by me joined together in Holy Matrimony on the 29th day of Nov in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Eight.
