Forum Topic - Managing an IAGenWeb Web Site
Discussion Lead: Bill Rathbun
Every now and then someone brings up on the list the subject of securing volunteers. Some times these are transcribers, some times cemetery walkers. Maybe there are other kinds of volunteers we need too, like graphic designers. All of us need help to make our sites effective. Do you write your own HTML or use an editor? Who have you had to help you develop your site? Where do you get your resources to put on line? How many volunteers do you have and where do you get them? What is your relationship to the local genealogical society? What resources might be available to us and what people and material resources are needed to make a good web site? Let's discuss building a plan for a site and developing a needed network to support the plan.
