- Christian Reformed Church located one mile north, one
mile west of Carnes. The church was organized October 13, 1904
and disbanded May 15, 1943. There are microfilm of church
minutes (Dutch) at Dordt College Dutch Memorial Collection.
The church membership records are at the First Christian
Reformed Church Orange City IA. and at the Greater Sioux
County Genealogical Society Sioux Center Library.
