Alexander, Harvey S. – served as a Private in Company D, 166th Ohio Infantry, enlisted at age 18 on May 2, 1864 for 100 days, mustered out with Company Sep 9, 1864.  He died Oct 30, 1936 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He joined Bradford GAR Post #471, Quick, Iowa on Feb 1, 1890 and Abe Lincoln GAR Post #29 in Council Bluffs in 1906.

Annis, James K. – served as a Private in Company D, 1st Illinois Cavalry, enlisted on Nov 15, 1861 and mustered out July 14, 1862 as a Corporal.  He was born Aug 30, 1835 in Maine and died Apr 30, 1915, buried in Macedonia City Cemetery. Wife, Drusilla A. Essex

Boore, John T. – served as a Private in Company H, 14th Vermont Infantry, enlisted Sep 10, 1862, discharged July 30, 1863.  Joined Bradford GAR Post #471 on Feb 1, 1890.

Bradford, Ezra – served as a Private in Company I, 140th Ohio Infantry, enlisted at age 37, on May 2, 1864 for 100 days, mustered out with his Company Sep 3, 1864. He was born Feb 20, 1827 in Portsmouth, Ohio and died Feb 1, 1915 in Glenwood, Iowa, buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa. Father was Lilleton Bradford, mother’s name, Abrigail, wife, Mercia Woodruff, children: Mary, Walter, Olive, Carry, Maurice, Clara, and Lucy.

Cooney, Patrick – military record not listed, born Ireland, buried in Fairview Cemetery, Pottawattamie County, Iowa, listed in the 1885 Iowa census, Washington Twp., Pottawattamie County, age 56.

Dalrymple, George W. – served as a Private in Company G., 22nd Pennsylvania Cavalry, mustered in Feb 25, 1864 for 3 year service.

Delong, Thomas E. – served as a Private in Company C., 33rd Iowa Infantry, enlisted Aug 10, 1862 at age 23, promoted to 4th Corporal on Mar 10, 1863, mustered out July 17, 1865. Born Ohio.

Dryden, Drury F. – served as a Private in the 19th Battalion, Ohio Light Artillery, enlisted Aug 12, 1862 at age 20.  Appointed Corporal, mustered out with Battery June 27, 1865 at Camp Cleveland, Ohio. Died Dec 1, 1908.

Garrett, Benjamin – served as a Corporal in Company A, 130th Illinois Infantry, enlisted Aug 12, 1862, mustered out Aug 15, 1865. Born England.  He served as a Sergeant Major of Bradford Post #471.

McMullen, Charles E. – served as a Private in Company I, 146th Illinois Infantry, enlisted Sep 1, 1864, discharged June 14, 1865.

Morris, Van R. J. – served as a Private in Company e, 15th Iowa Infantry, enlisted at age 24 on Oct 4, 1864 and mustered out July 24, 1865 in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born in Des Moines County, IA. on Mar 3, 1840 and died Apr 30, 1911 in Council Bluffs, IA, buried in Hardin Twp. Cemetery, Pottawattamie County, IA.

Moyer, W. H. – military record not certain, “could be one shown in pension file who served in Company L, 2nd Minnesota Cavalry, who enlisted Dec 30, 1863, age 35 (born 1828), pension #SC437578, filed June22, 1880.”

Sharp, Joseph H. – served as a Private in Company C, 79th Pennsylvania Infantry, enlisted Apr 5, 1864 for 3 years, but mustered out with his Company July 12, 1865. Born May 10, 1835, died June 4, 1916 in York Twp, Pottawattamie County. Wife, Loretta Whiston.

Vansandt, Jerome C. – served as a Private in the 20th Indiana Battery Light Artillery, enlisted Sep 19, 1862, mustered out May 12, 1865. Died Feb 20, 1911 at the Iowa Soldier’s Home in Marshalltown, IA., age 76. Burial in Marshalltown.

Vezey, Charles R. – served as a Private in Company A, 26th Regiment Missouri Volunteer Infantry, enlisted Aug 30, 1861.

Wells, William S. – served as a Private in Company B, 83rd Ohio Infantry, enlisted at age 27 on Aug 31, 1864 for one year, transferred to Company B, 48th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Jan 17, 1865, mustered out with Company July 24, 1865. Born Apr 16, 1837 in Brown County, Ohio, died Feb 18, 1907 in Hardin Twp., Pottawattamie County, IA. Father, John Wells, mother, Phoebe Soper, wife, Mary L. Thompson, children: Mrs. C. T.
