    It seems that there are no definitive
records to show when the first religious services were held in the vicinity of
Ayrshire.

    Under the direction of the Rev. Frank Moore, the church was
built in 1889, and dedicated in 1890. In 1893, Ayrshire became a station rather
than a circuit.

    In 1916, an intensive program of remodeling was carried out.
The basement was dug and the sanctuary doubled in size. 

    At the present time, the Ayrshire Church is together with the
Curlew Church.
