Marriage notes from Joan Nisley

An Abstracted Newspaper Index for Page and Taylor County, Iowa compiled
by Pat O'Dell lists: Mabel Chester, age 28, wed L. A. McClanahan, age
28, CH 14 January 1909.

I did not order this film yet but obviously from the suicide article,
Mabel Chester and Luther McClanahan never married--that is why he
committed suicide--her parents would not allow the marriage to take
place. It probably was an application for a marriage license and you
might want to change "wed" to "to wed".
