Correction note from Teddy Brock: trbrock@woh.rr.com - For the record, the 1890 bio has 2 known errors. One, the family migrated to Bucks Co., Pa, not Berks. And two, Nathan's grandfather was Elisha (d. 1828), not Elijah (a brother of Elisha who died abt. 1807). Considering that Nathan's grandmother lived until 1856 there shouldn't have been any confusion about Elisha's name unless it can be chalked up to a transcription error when the book was being drafted. Easy to see how Berks & Bucks might be misinterpreted when handwritten.
