NOTES: Some Chaney's lived in New Market, Clarinda and Hawleyville at times. William Henry Chaney had a daughter, Mary Alice Chaney, born 29 Mar 1872 in Clarinda, Iowa. She is still alive, 105 years old next month and lives in StPaul, Nebraska. My father and aunt said that Lottie was married to Frank Duncan and had two daughters Nellie and Ethel. She left Duncan and lived with my grandfather David L. Rees (I don't think they were ever married) for several years and had three children Zenus, Zoran my father, and Sariah. She left my grandfather and went back to Duncan and had two more children, Sarah and Frank. |
