Hi,
Looking for information on James D. Keister, son of William E. Keister and
Ida Baird, born ca. 1885 in Page County.  Married Lilah Shearer in Cedar
Rapids in 1910.  Can't find them after that date, They may have moved east
to New York State.

I'm connected to Lilah Shearer through her grandmother, Carrie Walter, and
have lots of information to share with other descendants.  Thanks for any
help you can provide.

the 1930 census says basically the same thing except James' parents births
are given as Pa and Ind and her parents' births are given as NY and Ia.

Lawrence J. Walter, born Nov 1828, Springfield, Otsego County, New York, died Jan 7, 1893, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Married Delina M. (unknown maiden name).  Child of Lawrence Walter and Delina M. Shearer is Carrie Walter, born ca. 1858 in Lockport, Niagara County, New York.   Lawrence Walter and family moved to Cedar Rapids, IA, in 1871, where he practiced dentistry until his death on January 7, 1893.

Carrie Walter married John Weare Shearer, born 1855, married in 1880 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Harriette Gertrude Shearer, born 1883, married Rutherford B. Allard in Sep 1904, born 1877, moved to Dallas, Texas before 1920.

Walter Daniel Allard, born 28 April 1907, Iowa, died 2 Nov 1994, Ennis, Ellis County, Texas, married Tempie Frances Greenwell

Leroy Walter Allard, born Jan 28, 1928, died 3 June 2001, Wood County, Texas, married Paulette Green
