This is a picture of my grandfather James Porter Dorothy who was born 17 Aug 1885, in Ute, Iowa. His parents were Edward Perry and Phoebe (Booher) Dorothy. He was a home town boy; born, raised and is buried in St. Mary's cemetery next to his wife Grace Margaret (Winter). He ran his father's hardware business and later became the Post Master of Ute, Iowa.

This is a photo of my mother, Mary Margaret (Dorothy) Niemann, wife of William Robert Niemann & daughter of James Porter & Grace (Winter) Dorothy.
