OBITUARY
ERICKSON
Mrs. Gurine Erickson, aged 78 years, died at her home in LeGrand Saturday night at 9:30 o'clock of paralysis, with which she was stricken on the previous Monday. Mrs. Erickson had been a resident of the county for almost 40 years.
Mrs. Erickson was born in Stavanger, Norway, July 20, 1830. She came to America in 1859, and lived in Chicago until 1870, when she and her husband moved to this county and settled near LeGrand. She became the wife in 1860, at Chicago, of John Erickson, who died eight years ago.
Mrs. Erickson is survived by two children, Mrs. Anna Zimmerman, of Kokomo, Ind., and Mrs. Josephine Larson, of Montour. Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Lutheran church until 1908, when she united with the Friends church at LeGrand.
The funeral will be held from the Friends church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the LeGrand cemetery.
