The book "Past and Present of Mahaska County, Iowa was created in 1906 by the S J Clarke Publishing Company.


Mahaska County IAGenWeb Volunteer Peggy Tebbetts transcribed nearly the entire book to help you in your on-line Mahaska County research.  Not only did she spend hours typing, she also displayed the content on these beautiful pages.  For that, she deserves a huge thank you.  Her work will benefit many family history researchers with Mahaska County roots.
