Public Library, Cedar Rapids, Iowa "Dear
Achsa, I've been here a month now, we've had all kinds of weather and
sure as you have but not so cold here. We bot a Ford Coupe so have had
that to get around. We took a long ride yesterday and it was such a
nice day. Expect to go to Waterloo Wed to se Mr & Mrs Bronson, they
used to livein Maxbass. I go on from there to Mpls. for a few days and
then to D. L. to see the folks til B comes. He stays here awhile yet I
hate to go on alone but he doesn't want to be up there so long. I wish
I knew who I was going to have work for me. Would like so much to a
have a man and wife & have them both good. Bert goes someplace
every day, he knows so many. I've been a few places but it's no fun for
me to go every place with him for they talk about people & places I
don't know. I've been to 2 S.S. class parties & expect to attend
another tomorrow eve. We usually go to S.S. & church twice a
day. It's raining tonight. Hope it doesn't get back so we can't
go to Waterloo in the car. Bert & I have been taking chiropractic
treatments can't see much of any improvement yet but maybe another
month will help. What have you been doing all winter anything going on
over your way? If you write, send to Box 177, Devils Lake. I've tied 3
comforts this winter. Love to all, Fannie" Click to see back of card | St Patrick's Church, Cedar Rapids, IA
