Heroes Sleep in Johnson County |
The long roster of the Iowa City and Johnson county heroes,
who rest in cemeteries in Iowa City and elsewhere, has been carefully
prepared for the Daily Press by Colonel Jones, past commander of the
Grand Army post, Iowa City, and his son, Dr. M. A. H. Jones, of the
Sons of Veterans. Colonel Jones and Dr. Jones emphasize the fact that the list does not purport to be complete, but they hope to have one complete in due time. |
