CLASS HISTORY
"ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL"
As
"seniors so mighty" we have reached the climax of our efforts. Election
of our officers served as an inciting point to action. Robert Eaton,
Richard Amerine and James Jones were given the leads with Miss Wachs
directing "All's Well That Ends Well." Athletics boomed under the
supervision of Mr. Cormack, with the able assistance of Mr. Merten.
Mixed chorus, with the orchestra, displayed its musical ability in its
performance of "Rosamunde." The band left Cleveland with the
satisfaction of having received equal honors with the arch-enemy,
Hobart, Indiana. On May 21st and 22nd the curtains parted to reveal the
final dramatic spectacle of the class of 1936. "Seven Keys to Baldpate"
drew hearty applause from everyone. Our Senior Day was made more
enjoyable by publication of the 1936 annual, the first since 1931.
Finally to climax our high school career the spotlight focused on the
class as it gathered in Macbride auditorium June 4th, for the
commencement exercises. With the awarding of diplomas, the curtain rang
down upon one of the finest performances ever given in I. C. H. S.
