LOGAN Township was named for George Logan who came to Ida County in 1867 from Imperial, Pennsylvania. His marriage to Hannah Wilkinson in 1868 is the second recorded marriage in Ida County. Temperance hall in Section 24 was a organized place which included Holstein and Galva and a Methodist Minister served their needs. |
