Orleans J. (Lefty) Cayou was born October 9, 1900, in Stillwater, Minnesota. He came to Livermore as Coach and Teacher in 1928, and continued in that capacity until 1955. He was a graduate of Upper Iowa University at Fayette, Iowa. In 1977, "Lefty" was inducted into the Iowa High School AA Basketball Hall of Fame. Coach died in June of 1983, in Tucson, AZ.
