NASHUA - Dorothy G. Usher, 85, Nashua, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002 at Salisbury Baptist Home of natural causes.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 a t the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Dorothy was born Feb. 14, 1917 in McGregor, MN, the daughter of Ervin O. and Jesse B. (Ross) Wood. She attended high school and married Allen P. Usher on July 9, 1935 in Charles City. She was a housewife and farmed with her husband.

Survivors include four sons, Robert (Carol) Usher, Waverly, Ervin (Pat) Usher, Sedalia, CO, Larry (Jean) Usher, Ionia and Rodney (Kim) Usher, Osage; three daughters, Lois Kloft, Mayer, AZ, Janice (Jim) Fisher, Charles City and Linda (Dave) Hurst, Oelwein; four sisters, Zula Fulton, Cannon Falls, MN, Ada Reeves, Charles City, Clara Wright and Clara Geffe, both of Nashua; 34 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Allen, in 1988; a son, Harlen Usher; two brothers, Roy and Elmer Wood; two sisters, Lena Bischoff and Eva Mulling; a grandson, James Fisher and a great-grandson, Eric Usher.
