SAN BERNARDINO, CA -- Raymond Earl Schmidt, 90, San Bernardino, CA died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 11 in San Bernardino, CA.

Interment was in San Gabriel, CA.

Raymond Earl Schmidt was born March 3, 1912 in New Hampton, the son of Frederick A. and Emma Elizabeth Gauger Schmidt. He served in the Army Air Force with the 366th Fighter Group stationed in Europe during World War II. He worked for Blue Seal Linen Co. for 40 years before retiring. He had resided in San Bernardino for the past 53 years.

Survivors include one brother, Donald, Des Moines and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Virginia; three brothers, Kenneth, Laverne (Bud) and Robert and one sister, Adele.
