Nosbisch, Mabel nee Wiemerslage 1921 - 2002NEW HAMPTON - Mabel Nosbisch, 81, New Hampton, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton of natural causes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Holy Family Parish - St. Mary’s Center, New Hampton with Rev. Carl Schmitt celebrating the mass. The pall will be placed on the casket by her son and daughter-in-law. The offertory gifts will be presented by Dennis Leitch and Denise Leitch. Paul Schwickerath will be the lector with Ann Bennett as organist and the St. Mary's Choir providing music. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Hampton with Tim Nosbisch, Don Nosbisch, Lynn Nosbisch, Chuck Boyle, Don Kruse and Rick Monson as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton where there will be a 4 p.m. Rosary, a 7 p.m. Scripture Service and a 7:30 p.m. Video Memorial tribute. Further visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mabel was born July 15, 1921 in rural Houston County, MN near Eitzen, the daughter of Fred and Freda Gage Wiemerslage. She attended rural country schools just across the Iowa border in Allamakee County. On Aug. 19, 1957 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Caledonia, MN she married Leo Nosbisch of North Washington. The couple lived in New Hampton their entire lives. Mabel was a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors with her gardens, flowers and time fishing. Mabel became a resident of New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in October of 1994. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and Rosary Society. Survivors include one son, Dennis (Dail) Nosbisch, New Hampton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, John (Florence) Nosbisch, New Hampton and two sisters-in-law, Anna Nosbisch, New Hampton and Viola Wiemerslage, New Albin and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Leo, in 1972; three brothers, Roy, Norman and Raymond Wiemerslage and four sisters, Irma Weing, Ruby Monson, Edna Wiemerslage and Lillian Hansmier.
