BENNETTE - Duane Robert Morris, 49, Bennette died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at University Hospital, Iowa City, of natural causes.

Funeral services will held Friday, April 5 at 10:30 at the Lutheran Church in Bennette.

Burial will be in Bennette.

Visitation is Thursday, April 4 from 4-7 p.m. at the Fry Funeral Home in Tipton.

Duane was born Nov. 24, 1954 at Clarion, the son of Robert and Ann (Reicherts) Morris. He attended the New Hampton Schools and served in the U.S. Army. Duane was employed in a job printing shop.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; two daughters, Nichole and Jamie; one son, Duane (D.J.); one grandchild, all of Bennette; his mother, Ann Whitnable, New Hampton; two brothers, Dean (Nancy) and A1 (Joan), New Hampton; four sisters, Marilyn (Jim) Mihm, Waucoma, Patricia (Kevin) Wilharm, LeRoy, MN, Catherine (Pete) Kleinschmidt, Austin, MN, Debra (Andy) Block, Orchard; many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were a son, Scott; his father, Robert in 1969; a brother, Dale in 2000; stepfather, Leon Whitnable in 1979.
